Steven Price - Managing Director
Steven was born in Whangarei where he grew up as the youngest of a family of five children.
In his early days he played rugby for the Kamo Black Rugby team alongside a very young Ian Jones.
He went to Kamo High School and gained top honours in mathematics and science.
Was awarded a University Junior Scholarship after scoring full marks in Bursary Mathematics (God answers prayer).
A passion for music lead him to purchase of a Baby Grand Piano, but he was never destined to become a virtuoso.
He studied at the University of Auckland for a BCom/BSC degree then left to join the workforce.
Steven decided to work in the computer industry having always been fascinated with computers.
Firstly as a contractor for Snell Packaging, where he set up a new computer information system, then as a sales consultant at TL Systems where he progressed to the position of General Manager.
After over eight years helping run TL Systems he left to start Computer Direct Limited.
He carries the same philosophy from the last ten years, that in order to be successful a business must always be totally open and honest with its customers, suppliers and employees and always try to do better.
Interests: Computers, Internet, Bible, Piano and Sci-Fi Movies
Beliefs: God the Father, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, and The Holy Spirit our Comforter
Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc/BCom Conjoint Degree Course)
Loves: Lorna, Isaac, Reuben, Zipporah, & Raphael Price and their family and friends
Dislikes: Dishonesty, Hypocrisy, Bad Drivers, and Yams
Sports: Tennis, Cycling and Running
